Japan opened its borders to tourists earlier this week after a complicated couple of years for those who wished to visit.

Running for those who can’t
Five months ago today I broke my back in a skiing accident. Had it not been for the circumstances—I was skiing alone at night—the fall would have appeared to be largely unremarkable. I simply caught my ski on a rock, or shark as this type of danger is known among skiers, that lay below the surface.
March 13th 2020: Robin crash-landing signals a move to WFH
